Event Information
Taunton Flower Show is held in Vivary Park in Taunton and has a rich history, having been a fixture since 1831.
Competitions
At the heart of the show are the large competitive classes and floral classes marquees. The competitive classes are open to all and consist of approximately 250 different classes for amateur gardeners, crafters, floral artists and children. The floral marquee features traders who mount displays of their flowers and plants. Around the marquees, and throughout the showground, are a wide range of horticultural, gardening, craft and local food traders.
Lots of Entertainment
At the centre of the park is an arena featuring acts such as animal displays and family entertainment. The show also features other smaller marquees. It plays host to the South West Honey Show. It also features a wine show and competition. There is a children’s zone where our younger visitors can be entertained. The activities in the show are free for children. Children can also enter the show for free with a paying adult.
Designer Gardens
For several years the show have held a competition to encourage professional garden designers to build show-gardens where you can be inspired. For those wanted to try their hand at garden designing, Taunton Flower Show has a Ready, Steady, Garden competition. This allows amateurs to try designing something in an hour and features a children’s version of Saturdays.
Dogs
Visitors needing assistance dogs will be allowed to bring their dog into the showground.
All other dogs will NOT be allowed at the show.
Vivary Park is a small showground and, in places paths and spaces are very narrow and can get very crowded at times, which makes it unsafe to have dogs in the showground. The show hires Vivary Park to put on Taunton Flower Show, and it must return it in a clean condition, which means volunteers would have to clear up after dogs. The volunteer directors do not feel it is right to ask people who have volunteered their time to do this. The show is also aware that, as a family friendly show, there are lots of children who are uncomfortable around dogs.
Please do NOT to leave dogs in your cars whilst you attend the show – the weather is often very hot.
Disabled Visitors
Disabled adults can bring one carer with them free of charge when they purchase an adult ticket. A carer ticket will need to obtained from the show office.
For a carer ticket, please email evidence of eligibility to info@tauntonfs.co.uk. Evidence of eligibility includes a copy of both sides of a Blue Badge, a letter from a medical professional on NHS headed paper, or a relevant benefit letter.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The below terms are in addition to any other shown on the event organisers website.
The Organisers advise that due to the uneven nature of the terrain of this event it may be at times difficult for spectators to move around freely. All spectators enter at their own risk and are advised to wear suitable footwear.
Online Ticket Orders
Once purchased, tickets cannot be transferred, exchanged, refunded or returned. In the event of non-delivery, duplicate tickets will not be issued (copies of electronic ticket can be requested). The ticket purchaser is responsible for ordering to ensure timely receipt of their ticket. Customers are advised to check their purchase upon receipt. It is the responsibility of the customer to inform the Event Organiser of any change of address, contact phone number or email address, both before and after receipt of the goods. Please note that our preferred method of contact for customers ordering online is by email, so care should be taken to provide a current, valid email address. Tickets are valid for one day/visit only (unless otherwise stated), but might offer a choice of days to visit.
Cancelled Bookings
Lost, Forgotten or Unused Badges/Tickets. No duplicate can be issued or any refund made in respect of any lost, forgotten or unused car passes admission tickets or members'/guest badges.
Cancellation or Abandonment of the Event
The Event Organiser shall not be liable in respect of any loss or damage whatsoever arising from the abandonment, cancellation or postponement of the Event or any such eventuality.
Disclaimer of Liability
All badges, car park labels and hospitality packages are sold subject to the Organisers reserving the right to refuse admission to the event to any person, or to withdraw permission at any time to remain at the event and shall not be required to give any reason for such action. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers or anyone for whom they are responsible, neither the Organisers of the event, nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to animals, owners, riders, grooms, spectators, land or any other person or property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever.
